Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS) provides advanced pre-hospital care to victims of serious injury and medical emergencies throughout Norfolk. NARS paramedics and doctors have received additional training and are qualified to carry and use drugs and equipment not found on a normal ambulance. They volunteer their services in their own time. The advanced medical equipment they carry is provided by charitable donations, as we receive no funding from the NHS or government. Our aim is to save lives and provide an additional level of care for patients prior to their admission to hospital.
