To promote and protect the physical and Mental Health of Veterans of the Armed Forces and in particular, those suffering with Hearing Impairment or Hearing Loss as a result of their service, primarily (but not exclusively by: A) facilitating and Funding Access to any necessary Hearing Assessments, Equipment and Support. B) Raising awareness of the Mental Issues resulting from Hearing Impairment and Hearing Loss and signposting to relevant organisations providing Mental Health Support.
UK Youth is the largest national body for the youth sector. Founded in 1911, our growing network of youth organisations now reaches over 830,500 young people aged 9-25 across the UK. Our mission is to work hand in hand with young people – and the dedicated organisations supporting them – to develop the skills, belief, courage and leadership to build a bright future, regardless of background or circumstances. We achieve this by creating an ecosystem of youth provision that works for everyone. Last year we invested £4.3 million on direct delivery to young people through our network of members, piloting new approaches, investing in areas of high deprivation and low provision, supporting outdoor education and rolling out successful programmes nationwide.
UKHarvest which is a not-for-profit environmental food rescue charity, based in Chichester, that collects quality excess food from commercial outlets and delivers it, direct and free of charge, to charities and organisations feeding vulnerable people and people who are food insecure. The primary focus since the beginning has been to support as many vulnerable groups as possible through food deliveries to recipient organisations, as well as running our Surplus Suppers (Pop up restaurants) within local communities targeting isolation, plus a range of bespoke education courses for all. At the moment we are delivering food to 109 charitable causes completely free of charge throughout the South, and ever growing. Help us on our mission to eliminate hunger and nourish our nation.
Unicef is the worlds leading organisation working specifically for children. We work with local communities and governments in 157 countries, areas and territories, to provide emergency relief and run long-term development programmes in areas such as health, education and child protection.
