The ataxias are neurological disorders progressively affecting mobility and speech. They can lead to total physical dependancy. We fund world class medical research into causes and treatments, and provide a range of support services, that are not available elsewhere, for people with ataxia and their families.

MHA Auchlochan is part of MHA, a UK-wide housing and care organisation for older people founded by the Methodist church in 1943. Nowadays, MHA is a charity providing care homes, accommodation and support services for 15,000 older people throughout Britain.
Autism Independent UK helps to increase awareness of autism to the notice of all, together with well established and newly developed approaches in the diagnosis, assessment, education and treatment. The main goal is to improve the quality of life for persons with Autism, giving them a chance to take their rightful place within their local community where they can live, work and play.
We provide unique user-led services to over 600 families affected by autism across the UK. Our expectation is that people with autism can learn and develop to lead meaningful and fulfilled lives. We support this process every single day.
Avert is an HIV/AIDS education charity. We provide a free and confidential information service via E-mail, Post and Telephone. We run a large educational website where you can access many pages of HIV and related information, and also download various booklets. Additionally, we also fund overseas projects in developing countries.
